Mr. Barker's ground-floor bedroom, now repurposed as a meeting room or gathering space for groomsmen during weddings, retains its early 20th-century charm. Mahogany and sapele wood panels complement the existing woodwork, while the English wallpaper features lions, a motif repeated throughout the mansion. Fixtures original to Mr. Barker’s daily routine include the wall clock from his office at the Haskell & Barker factory and the cigar holder installed on the bathroom doorframe. His bedroom, originally equipped with an intercom and a call button for the valet, was eventually remodeled by Mr. Barker’s daughter, Catherine, as a recreational space dubbed the “Ping Pong Room.”
